About

Welcome! I believe my clients can do hard things. My goal is to empower clients to identify the areas of their lives that need some work through insight, identifying patterns that are not working in their lives, reworking emotional responses that no longer serve them as well as identifying the reasons why decisions are made that don't honor their authentic self. Mental health is just another aspect of self care that is just as important as our physical health. The therapeutic environment can offer a safe, no bias space where clients can be authentically themselves free of judgement.

My experience has been primarily working with domestic violence in the home, school performance issues, depression and anxiety, as well as working with couples in the whole spectrum from strengthening the relationship to divorce. I have had the pleasure of working primarily with the Hispanic population conducting therapy in Spanish.

I really enjoy client growth to a more authentic way of conducting relationships that are satisfying. I know this work is not easy, but helping people through the hard work is very inspiring.

    Frequently asked questions

During the first session we discuss the most pressing issues, the ways in which the client/clients have tried to resolve these issues and work on ways to de-escalate problems or symptom reduction. The following sessions we discuss client history, and try to identify patterns that need to change. The remaining sessions are conceptualized to help clients learn new patterns and better communication options for an improved relationship.
