About this pro

I specialize in doing deep tissue massage. I focus on your problem areas and make sure the proper technique is used. I am trained in warm bamboo, which is used to melt the muscle and work deeper. I am also certified in cupping, which is used to increase the circulation while breaking up the fascia in your problems areas. I use many techniques throughout your customized session to work out any trigger points you may have that are causing you pain. I have been a massage therapist for 2 years. I am the lead therapist at Massage Heights, with an 80% request rating. I also do In-Home massages.

Alicia is a great massage therapist. I always request 2 hour sessions. She incorporates standard massage techniques with myoskeletal and cupping procedures. She ends the session with practical demonstrations on proper stretching techniques. She is reasonably priced and very much accommodating to my schedule.

She is one of top two best therapists I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing! She takes such great care in making sure that each session isn't just ho hum, mundane session. She focuses on the areas that need attention and gives full effort in getting that part of the body back to full tilt!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to get an idea of what the client does for a living. If necessary I will do an alignment assessment to determine what or where the pain is steming from. I will ask client a few questions about their problems areas. Then I like to learn about the client medical history, areas they dont like massage (head, face, feet, glutes)  Also I will talk through learning what pressure is good for them and what their range of motion is with some stretching. When we are done with the session I typically show some good stretches and develop a return plan.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I went to Texas Center for Massage Therapy where I completed 815 credit hours in several different modalities.  I have also taken several continuing education classes to expand my expertise in the massage therapy field. I have increased my knowledge with warm bamboo massage, myoskeletal alignment, fertility, myofascial/sports massage, and cupping.
