I am passionate about delivering great massage: relaxing or deep tissue and making my clients feel their best! I employ deep trigger point therapy, muscles energy, and stretching techniques to improve joint mobility while promoting flexibility and blood supply of soft tissues. I deliver deep slow movements which are both relaxing and therapeutic. In addition, I do cupping, Guasha scraping, rehabilitation massage, and hot stone therapy. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meeting my client for the first time, we are discussing the goals for the massage and any possible indications and counter indications. I am using the classic: subjective, objective, assessment and planning (SOAP). Subjective analysis is to discuss any discomfort, pain, and other issues the customer may experience. Objective is what I am observing upon palpation. Assessment is for changes an improvement post-treatment. Finally, "planning" is where we discuss my suggestions to maintain the results and any further proposed treatments. I am also documenting our progress for any future sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed 500 hours in the State accredited massage school in Houston, Texas. Currently, I am a licensed massage therapist in Texas. In addition, I have 5 years of experience in healthcare and hospitality. I possess Master's dregrees in business, and human resources development.
