Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with asking why they want a massage and what are the areas of concern.I ask what kind of pressure they prefer and where and if they would like me to concentrate on a specific area.I also ask if they have any medical issues that I would need to be aware of.I finish up by asking if there are any areas of the body that they would rather I'd not work on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Sarasota School of Massage Therapy in 1999.I've taken a lot of continuing education classes over the years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge a dollar a minute if they come to me and an extra 25 dollars if I travel to them.
How did you get started in this business?
I've always been interested in the human body. The gift of relieving pain and bringing joy to people is a very gratifying and rewarding experience! I have a great instinct to find and relieve the areas of concern.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with both woman and men of all ages.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I worked on a gentlemen that had severe neck issues for years and released the knots and stiffness. He was very happy to be able to not be in constant pain all the time!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would tell them to look for a therapist that is genuinely interested in helping them instead of therapists that just seem to be going through the motions.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How long the therapist has been practicing and why they chose massage therapy as a profession.
