Elaine's Massage Place
About
I have had a passion for massage since I was a small child and helped my grandmother through massage for her osteoarthritis.
When I got older I went to Heritage college and got my licensed. I also have another certification for prenatal massage.
I love helping people, but especially with issues like neck, back, or anything related to previous injuries. I like seeing my client's progress and knowing I helped.
I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 4 year. I have worked at studio and spa environments. I include aromatherapy and hot compresses in some of my massages because I believe relaxation is an effective boost for the benefits of massage.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new client?
I like to know why my clients scheduled a massafe. My methods vary if it's because of a new issue, a recurring issue, or if they would like to relax.
I also go over what kind of pressure they would like and if there's anywhere they don't want to be touched. Like face or scalp, for example.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for 750 hours and received my license after passing the MBLEX. I also have extra certification in prenatal massage. I have been a LMT for 4 years.
