Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I appreciate it when the customer arrives about 5 minutes early so I can have them fill out a short questionnaire getting to know them and their needs, along with any additional add-on such as cupping or hot stone to their massage.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in many modalities such as reflexology, neuromuscular, and muskoslelatal to name a few. I have 27 years of practice along with being an instructor at a local massage school.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My Swedish massage. which is described as a calgone moment using long, flowing strokes is $65.00 for a 60 minute massage.
My deep tissue massage is $80.00 for a 1 hour massage, which is described as therapeutic, releasing knots and tension in the muscles.
All massages come standard with hot towels and free essential oils.
How did you get started in this business?
As a child my mother suffered from depression. I used massage as an outlet for her providing a release of endorphins aiding her with her healing process. It comes naturally to me, therefore I choose to follow up with massage school.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Everyone from mothers, fathers, students, pro and semi pro athletes, college students and college athletes, children and infants.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Every day I seek to make each client walk out the door feeling like a million bucks!! Every client walks out feeling just that way!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Tension, knots, stress, life.... it all compiles on each one of us. Taking hot baths, using a heating pad, applying ice... all help in one way or another. But none of those techniques can alleviate your stress . If you are seeking to truly release your body of the stress and tension that every day life brings... a massage is the way to go. It’s natural, no drugs, and healing. It’s my job to find the problems you do not know about...
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Have I taken the nessarry steps needed prior to seeing a licensed therapist. Such as, if you twist your ankle have you seen a doctor to verify the ankle is not broken and ask the doctor if massage would be appropriate.
