Andrea Ott is the Lead Therapist for Western Mass Wellness Center, LLC.
She is one of the few massage therapists in Massachusetts to offer Ashiatsu Massage - a unique massage modality steeped in ancient holistic tradition, in which the practitioner utilizes clean well maintained feet instead of hands. Thanks to the use of overhead bars, the session can be performed at a traditional massage table. Sounds strange, but it is an incredibly relaxing and effective massage because it provides broad consistent pressure throughout the massage. You have to try it to believe it!
Andrea also offers traditional Swedish, Deep Tissue, Heated Himalayan Salt Stone Massage, Traditional Basalt Hot Stone Massage, Prenatal Massage and Massage with Essential Oil Aromatherapy. Chair massage is available. We can travel to your location, for those who have mobility issues or who are in a hospice setting.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New guests should plan to arrive a few minutes early so that they can fill out an intake form, after which your therapist will conduct a brief intake review to discuss your needs and goals (I.e. reducing anxiety, improving range of motion, decreasing muscular discomfort). Your therapist will use the information gathered to tailor your session to your state of health, your needs and goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
900+ Hours of coursework, covering anatomy, pathology, physiology, technique, ethics and professional development, as well as continuing education training for massage, deep tissue, and ashiatsu.
