Having 43 years of being an Exercise Rehabilitation Specialist and 40 years as a certified Shiatsu Medical Therapist / Physiotherapist. My approach to personalized health therapy is to locate the source of the ailments or condition and address it, not just the symptoms! Conventional medicine approaches the symptoms of a problem, condition or ailment. I choose to address the source or root of the issue!
My formal studies and work positions are as followed; Bachelors in Human Physiology, Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology from Cal State University Bakersfield, CA and Certified Shiatsu Medical Therapist from California Medical College of Traditional Shiatsu, Bakersfield, CA and have worked in physical medical clinics for 38 years as a Exercise Rehab Specialist , Physiotherapist and Director of Physical Rehabilitation.
Everything! From educating and helping people over come muscle dysfunction syndromes, muscular pain that they have been experiencing for months to years, due to fatigue, stress, strains or trauma, without resolve conventionally. Over all, reclaim a better quality of movement and of living their lives, is my goal with each client.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like talking with the client and find out what has been the issue and how long has it been an issue. Often, symptoms are what a client feels, the source or root of the issue is often some where else. By locating the root, I can begin a treatment that will be much more effective and longer lasting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education with concentrations in Kinesiology, Physiology, Exercise Physiology, Neurology and Pathology from Cal State Bakersfield University.
Certified Shiatsu Medical Therapist from California Medical College of Shiatsu, Bakersfield, CA.
Have worked in the Physical Medical field as both Exercise Rehabilitation Specialist since 1982 and Physiotherapist since 1990
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Fees are as follows:
120.00 per session basis, minimum of 60 minutes and not to exceed 100 minutes in duration. Or as needed, at no additional charges or fees applied.
150.00 per 90 minutes minimum session and not to exceed 140 minutes in duration. Or as needed, at no additional charges or fees applied.
How did you get started in this business?
Always wanted to do Physical Medicine and Physical Therapy was too limited. I found and enrolled in a 1600 hour Traditional Japanese, Torujiro Namikoshi, Shiatsu course at the California Medical College of Shiatsu, in Bakersfield, CA. Upon graduation, finishing top of my class, with the highest cumulative final score of 219 out of 220 possible, in the schools three campuses, Madera, Fresno & Bakersfield, CA and 35 year history. I was offered an instructor position at the Bakersfield Campus and started working in a MD/DC physical medical clinic shortly after graduation from CMCS.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types; Athletes of all ages, Navy Special Forces team members ,construction workers, office worker, pre & post surgical patients with physical ailments and conditions from head traumas, stoke conditions to strain, pulled and traumatized muscles due to an array of accidents. There isn't many issues, conditions and or ailments I haven't encountered in my many years as a Therapist, not meaning to sound over presumptuous.

Working with the public at Farmer's Markets exposing NTTP's "Self Therapeutic" products for wellness and physical longevity.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find someone who doesn't use their elbows or knees as part of their therapeutic pressure application!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
First be comfortable with them! Second, ask questions about their therapeutic approach to treatments.
