About
I am a unicorn 🦄🦄 in the mobile massage space around Greater Puget Sound area ✅ corporate "chair" massage specialist since late 90s ✅ in-home/hotel traditional massage also available ✅ licensed since 1993 ✅ 100% focused on my home region ✅100% woman owned/operated ✅100% run by FT hands-on, working LMT (vs LMTs 'in name only' and non-LMT owners) ✅ powered by barbell fitness, ancestral eating and sleep!
Self-employment has proved worthwhile in my life. I'm happy to be in a wellness profession and able to positively impact people's lives both 'just today' and with actionable, information pointers for more lasting change.
I am intrinsically motivated around health, wellness, longevity due to deep, family reasons. I plan to stay out of the expensive and scary entaglements of mainstream medical 'sick care' and big pharma. I'm not motivated by repetitions of "what I've always heard was healthy" or modern tribal affiliations that keep people on the wrong track for decades. I care about what actually works to deliver real results . If learnings about human evolution from fact-bases sources do not inform your lifestyle choices, then you're probably on the wrong track...as your health progression WILL reveal bit by bit.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have them visit MassageTeam.com, click "request a quote" and complete the detailed form there. It's a 1-and-done process for everything from generating quotes all the way to servicing the client group.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a WA-licensed LMT since 1993 and credentialled librarian (MLIS from U of WA) and all around seasoned professional and specialist. Self-care: I do Olympic Weightlifting & Powerlifting for fitness, and I eat an ancestrally-aligned diet. Sleep is queen!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
CORPORATE CHAIR MASSAGE RATES: I have base rates set to capture most common client choices ('bankers hours' on the busiest weekdays, w/CC 💳 payment) plus discounts for other options (non-CC payment, slower weekdays, weekends, holidays, evenings). Think of discounts like restaurant happy hour deals. 😉 One we can message directly, I'll direct you to my website for more accurate quotes.
IN-HOME/HOTEL MASSAGE RATES (2023): $110/60 min | $210/2x 60 mins | $135/75 min | $260 2x 75 mins back-to-back | $160/90 min | $310/2x 90 min back-to-back | *Travel inclusive with free parking 🚗 | parking charge + valet tip separate 🚗 | Venmo, Square Cash App, Google GPay (+Paypal 😝) ALSO available: TheraGun percussive technique, cupping (silicone type) + TMJ 🦷 disorder massage (with notice so I bring right supplies)
How did you get started in this business?
Went to massage school immediately after high school (rare when most LMTs choose it as a 2nd/3rd career.) I continued with 'regular college' receiving my Masters in Library and Information Science. After working a few years as - wait for it - a mobile, credentialled librarian, I 'pivoted' and started work as a mobile, gig-oriented LMT. Funny how stars align!
What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds. Big companies & small. Companies & employers you have heard of and plenty you haven't. Families and friends, event planners, etc. Anyone looking after the needs of a group and wanting massage to make the day better.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Doing & organizing backstage massage at a professional, multi-week video-gaming tournament for event staff & talent.
Doing & organizing massage at my neighbor - Microsoft - covering DAILY service for 2-3 months after they won a large gov contract.
Doing & organizing massage for Microsoft's company-wide picnic till the final years of that event.
Doing & organizing massage at area event sites both indoor and outdoor for countless client companies.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Get the facts about the massage industry and please don't cheap out. 😊 In the USA we have loads of reflexology 'foot spas' providing trafficked human beings who are not licensed massage therapists and therefore cannot carry liability insurance. All profits go to **organized crime**.
I'm here to help guide a client through the confusing details and be their go-to source for quality corporate massage in the Greater Seattle Area & beyond.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
When contemplating mobile massage therapy --
Are the the massage therapists (1) currently state-licensed (2) currently business-licensed and (3) currently liability-insured ??
Will the LMTs bring their own equipment and supplies?
Are the charges fair & reasonable? Is the provider charging "in-home/hotel massage" rates when they should apply "corporate chair massage" rates? How to know the difference?
Is sales tax being erroneously charged in WA state (common with national companies and unscrupulous local providers)?
Are add-on fees like admin, travel, supplies, etc being charged?
-----------------------------------
My corporate massage fees are 100% inclusive of travel, materials, equipment. No admin/ processing/travel fees.
My in-home/hotel massage service requests you provide your own linens (for mutual safety).
NO sales tax on massage therapy in WA State.
NO mandatory "tips". Tips are OPTIONAL and welcome.
Potential add-ons would be recouping for unavoidable parking charges, unavoidable tolls, etc.
Special discounts available.
