Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I will send you paper work for your health history so I know if there are any precautions I should take or keep in mind for our session.
Our sessions consist of 5 minutes of intake, 50-80 minutes of hands on time, and 5 minutes for out take. During your massage, I will check in with pressure and your comfort levels to make sure you are receiving the best massage I can offer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In my 7+ years of experience I have worked in both a treatment/chiropractic setting and a spa setting. I have been doing mobile massage 7+ years as well. I graduated from Cortiva Institute of Massage in October 2016.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I typically charge $90/hour or $135/an hour and a half. There is no additional charge for cupping, stretching, or hot stone treatments. Tipping is appreciated but never required. Cash, Card, and Venmo are accepted.
How did you get started in this business?
I have a close relative who was a massage therapist for 15 years. She always felt that I would succeed in the massage world and that my personality fit for healing people. I've always wanted a career path that let me directly help people and massage gives me that exact opportunity!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with people of all ages, sizes, and race. My clients needs range from relaxation massage, treatment work for accidents/injuries, as well as mindful meditation massage.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would look for someone who can answer your questions, who is confident, and someone who has familiarized themselves with any health conditions you have.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
- what kind of pressure is offered/what pressure are you (the client) looking for?
- what are your goals for this session/can your provider meet them?
- how frequently do you (the client) want to receive massage/ what is the providers availability
