The Awakened Method has helped me reflect on traumatic childhood experiences and understand how they are still affecting me today, such as how I handle stressful situations. This method has provided tools I can use when dealing with anxiety and thus change my typical reactions. I'm able to self-regulate and respond to others in more caring ways, especially in situations where previously I may have been impatient or angry. I'm also feeling a positive shift in my relationship with my daughter as I'm more mindful of being fully present with her when she needs my attention as opposed to being elsewhere in thought. With the Awakened Method, I'm essentially learning that it's okay to slow down, take a breath, reflect and be present in the moment so that I'm better equipped in responding to others, making thoughtful decisions and feeling more connected to people I care about most.

In the last 15 years I have had treatments from seven different acupuncturist. The holistic approach of Dr. Sohn has been the best, he helped me to break out of a “pain prison” I was locked in. Dr. Sohn also educated me on the relationship between the different organs of the body and how when they are not functioning properly they cause problems in different areas.
