About
Aloha! I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist in Washington state since 1988. A Nationally Certified Massage Instructor since 2007. My massage practice is in a small cottage right on the beach in N. Edmonds since 1995.
My massage style is very eclectic and consider myself a sensory poet. The massage styles I am a Master of are: Hawai'ian Lomilomi, Balinese, Warm Bamboo and Gua Sha, Hot Stone, Breema, and 5 Traditions of Barefoot massage from Hawai'i, Fiji, Persia and Japan. I am also a Reiki Master and Teacher.
I worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in long term and palliative care for 15 years and also practice and teach a gentle acupressure created for Palliative care called Comfort Touch.
I am also a Yoga & Meditation Teacher which brings much Presence to my massage practice.
You can find out more about me and my massage practice on my website. www.abbycicirelli.com
I love taking care of people and helping them reach the goals they are wanting from massage therapy ... whether they are looking for pain relief, healing from physical I juries, emotional suffering or just wanting deep physical and mental relaxation from the pressures and responsibilities of life on Earth.
I also love the connection the is created during the massage session as it is both healing for the giver as well as the receiver.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my massage students called me to buy gift certificates for her mother and Aunt. The Mothers husband was in the hospital after having a heart attack on Christmas Day after his brother died of a stroke the day before on Christmas eve.
I delivered the gift certificates that day to the hospital. Both the mother and Aunt came over together to receive their massages a few weeks later after the brother had also passed away that Christmas Day.
It was a beautiful experience having these two widows coming over together to receive comfort and healing and day of respite after such a mournful holiday event.
My training and experience as a long term care nurse has been a valuable asset in my ability to help people cope with a range of situations that come with working as a massage therapist and healer.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Check out their website, testimonials and Google reviews.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Make sure to ask for exactly what you want and need. In truth, your massage therapist should ask you about your needs. Some people just want deep relaxation while others are looking for specific results related to physical pain or rehabilitation.
Also, be sure to speak up during the session regarding little things like the temperature, the pressure or if you need a bathroom break or a sip of water.
All massage therapists are working in this field because they have a sincere desire to help. We are all happy to make your massage experience the best it could possible be and a memorable experience. We want you to love your massage and come back again.
