I do not have a set pricing system I love what I do therefore I know that massage therapy can be costly so I am willing to work with people who may be on disability and or who have fixed incomes.
How did you get started in this business?
I wanted to become a massage therapist after I realized that I had a gift for it. I've always wanted to help people and it started with my family. I wanted to figure out how to help my aunt and my mom manage pain without taking a lot of pills and or having to go to the hospital. I noticed that when I gave them massages they immediately felt better and the pain went away for a little while. That is what got me started I went to school and here I am!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with an array of customers starting from teenagers 17 years old all the way to 80 years old.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was invited to do chair massage at a convention in my area. The people who wanted to get a massage at the event signed up, the event lasted for about 3 hours, it was great so many people sat down in my chair, I was very happy to accommodate everyone.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
My advice would be to hire someone who loves what they do because they will do their best by you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I think customers should ask about their professionals history, also if they are able to customize a therapeutic plan for them. I also think a customer should consider if their professional is legit, don't be afraid to ask for licensing numbers.
