About

My name is Sariah and I’ve been a licensed professional massage therapist for 13 years. I graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy. I specialize in Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy (knot release), Injury Massage, Relaxing Swedish Massage and I also give an amazing foot massage. I like to use aromatherapy with my treatments. I also offer salt & sugar scrubs as an add on treatment per request. My studio has a relaxing, and peaceful ambiance located in downtown SLC. I love releasing pain in the muscles using deep tissue, Trigger point, Injury Massage, and Swedish. My goals are to always release the pain a client has been experiencing or even just to relieve someone’s stress with a Relaxing Swedish Massage. I’m passionate about holistic healing for the mind, body and soul. I work independently in my business so I’m the only massage therapist in my company. I have a standard rate for my treatments but I’m also frequently giving discounts for my treatments and willing to work with what someone can afford. I book up pretty quickly so it’s best to schedule your massage in advance. The best way to book a massage appointment with me is by calling or by text message at (385) 867-9661.

I love getting rid of the general muscle pain and chronic pain that clients suffer with more than anything else. I love the healing that massage therapy has to our overall wellbeing. Healing, relaxing and getting rid of pain is my passion in this industry.

Frequently asked questions

I inquire about what the clients problem areas are such as areas where they have pain and tension. I’m also really skilled with relieving headaches. If a new client requests an hour deep tissue, it’s best to book 90 minutes or 2 hours if the client wants a full body deep tissue. For an hour deep tissue, there’s only time to focus on a few areas. Drink plenty of water after a massage, especially after a deep tissue. Drinking plenty of water afterwards assists the body in removing toxic waste.

After graduating from massage school almost 13 years ago, I started working in the industry. I started out working in a clinic, then I moved on to work for a wellness center, and continued to gain more experience working in spas and for Chiropractors. I've also worked with hospice agencies for a few years giving gentle massage therapy to hospice patients. After working for other businesses in the industry for so many years, I decided it was time to start my own private practice and I couldn't be happier in that decision. Customer service and professionalism is the most important aspect of running my business. I have been working for myself now for about a year & I have built up my clientele and I'm looking to recieve more clients.

I've worked on a wide variety of clients from athletes, to people suffering with general pain from the type of work they do such as working behind a desk and sitting for long hours, and other people who have jobs that cause muscle pain. I also have a lot of experience working on people that have injuries they sustained 2 weeks to a month after the injury (mostly whiplash and other auto accident injuries). I've also worked on hospice patients. I've also worked with clients who are just needing a relaxing massage.

The most recent event that I'm fond of was getting rid of 2 clients chronic low back pain and they haven't had low back pain since. A few months ago I had a client that had so much shoulder pain that his arm movements were restricted and he couldn't raise his arms above his head. After I focusing on his shoulders, he was able to raise his arms above his head. I'm also very skilled at getting rid of headaches when a client has one.

Read reviews before you make a decision on who to go to for massage therapy. Make sure they're capable of giving you the massage you need the most. Make sure they're licensed and that they're professional.

The physological benefits of massage therapy. How long that therapist has been a licensed massage therapist. What massage modalities they are skilled in. Does the therapist have a website. Do you have any medical conditions or medications you're taking. Massage therapy depending on the type of massage can have healing benefits for most health conditions. Medications such as muscle relaxers and pain medication can interfere with the massage.
