Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clear communication is a must. Respect on all levels. From comfort to respecting the clients time as well as mine. I like to arrive 15-20 minutes early to be able to set up my table and table warmer for the massage.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated from UCMT in March of 2016 with 815 hours of training.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
**First time clients: $1/min no travel fee **
*Return clientele:
$75 for a 60 minute massage
$100 for a 90 minute massage
$125 for a 120 minute massage*
** $10 travel fee for 20+ miles**
How did you get started in this business?
I was enrolled to go to school to be a veterinarian technician and decided I wanted to be a massage therapist instead. I have always wanted to help everyone and anything living. I have pride in being a people pleaser. I love animals and people; I just didn't want to have to euthanize animals. In massage I can put people to sleep and they will wake back up!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients who have had chronic pain from injuries and accidents. I have also worked with clients who simply want to relax. I have worked on clients that range from 9 years in age to 80+ years in age.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
If I am not already skilled and/or knowledgeable in a modality a client is requesting I will be more than happy to refer them to someone who is. I know many expert skilled therapists who work with specific modalities such as sports massage and myofacial release.
