Shiatsu By Owen
About
I specialize in Shiatsu a Japanese massage modality similar to Thai massage. So I have more of an eastern approach to massage therapy than others, working with the meridians and energy channels of the body. However, I incorporated all types of massage into my practice.
I love my job because I get to help people on a daily basis. It's very rewarding to have someone's gratitude for something that comes so easily to me. You can see the happiness and relief on people's faces almost instantly. Whether they come to you for a specific ailment or just for relaxation the results are the same.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listening to the clients concerns is very important. I also take into account body language as well as posture for structural bodywork.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to the world renowned Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in Austin, Tx. Where I graduated with over 950 hrs. I'm certified in all of the basic modalities such as pre/postnatal, Swedish, sports, and deep tissue, but also some lesser known like shiatsu, cupping, and polarity therapy.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
$75 for 60 minutes $100 for 90 minutes and $120 for 2 hours. Also you will get your full time, unlike chains that allow for a 10 minute discrepancy per session.
How did you get started in this business?
Massage was something that came naturally to me. After working on a friend with a headache, she said "you should be a masseuse" and the rest is history.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked on everyone from wheelchair and scoliosis to pregnant and healthy.
