Jessica Steinbomer is a Hakomi facilitator and Reiki practitioner:
Hakomi is a body-centered, somatic psychotherapy: the body serves as a resource that reflects and stores formative memories and the core beliefs they have generated, and also provides significant access routes to core material.
Reiki is an energetic healing modality.
We can combine the session for deeply transformative work, or practive just Reiki or just Hakomi by itself.
We begin by creating a shared space of awareness, comfort, and safety. We take our time, without agenda.
We tune to the body, the breath, the subtle signals that we often miss in "ordinary" consciousness. Somatic (bodily) awareness is a direct path to the subconscious and will lead us to our inner landscape if we listen.
From there, we allow the experience to emerge as it will and explore it together, with care and curiosity. Many people are surprised by the depth of what can emerge by simply allowing their experience to be held and witnessed in the caring presence of another.
Each session takes about an hour.
This can be a deeply intimate and transformative experience and has the potential to greatly enhance your self-learning.
