About

My great joy is to facilitate healing in body, mind, and spirit. I use a varied approach to suit your needs and circumstances. Difficult life events such as a relationship breakup, divorce, addictions, and depression demand that we learn new coping skills. Understanding your world is my focus. We work to transform your life stressors into growth opportunities, a challenge I meet willingly. With trust, all is achievable.

Cognitive-behavioral tools, calming body/mind processes, and positive bonding techniques foster strength by reprogramming the brain to embrace a proactive attitude. I have extensive experience using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to heal trauma. I love working with couples, individuals, children, and groups.

I am warm, open with an easy laugh. I have a deep interest in the human heart and mind. I continuously instill hope in my clients and support them to grow in the direction of their dreams. I am deeply honored to do this work.

In my twenties, I earned an MBA from The University of Texas At Austin. I quickly found that I was in the wrong field and vowed to return to my first love, the study of the human psyche. I was thrilled when accepted into the clinical social work program at NYU in New York City. Transferring back to the University Of Texas, I completed my M.S.W. in Austin. Eager to put into practice the theoretical knowledge that NYU had instilled in me. To that end, I studied with one of the most learned psychotherapists in Austin, Arlene Montgomery LCSW, Ph. D., honing my skills to better integrate the intuitive with the theoretical.
