About

I specialize in custom treatments. Each client has a different story and different needs. I create individual plans using an array of modalities, including cupping, stretching, myofascial release, deep tissue, yoga and reflexology.

I know in my heart I found my passion when I enrolled in massage therapy school. I've been a massage therapist for over 10 years, esthetician for 8, and a yoga instructor for almost a year. The human body fascinates me! I love to help people with chronic aches and pain, helping them find confort and relief in their own body.

Lisa is a master at her craft. Her space was clean and she practiced all the covid precautions. Every time she treats me, I get off the table feeling repaired and relaxed. She also offers deep tissue and cupping which I definitely needed. I recommend everybody to book with Ahimsa Wellness, you will not regret it!

Lisa is a magically intuitive, ultra caring massage therapist. I recommend her to everyone I meet, yes she is that good. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the physical body and how it works, but also the spiritual and emotional bodies, and how all three are connected. Do yourself a solid and book a session!

Frequently asked questions

My typical process starts with a quick facetime/phone call session to better understand what you need as a client. After you book, consent forms are sent to you, and that allows me to piece together an initial treatment and plan going forward. When you arrive at Ahimsa Wellness, we will chat for a little bit gathering any little last details for your service. After your treatment, there is a glass of water waiting for you and we discuss the plan going forward.

My pricing is by the hour, not the modality. I believe every client is unique in what they need and how their body responds to treatments. A deep tissue client should not have to pay more than a prenatal client, or a cupping client. Each of those treatments bring relief to the individual as its needed.

I do offer separate reflexology sessions and private yoga sessions that are priced a little differently.

After spending 10 years in the spa world, I decided to was time to go out on my own. I created a wellness space in my home during Covid. It's sanitary and private. This has allowed me to offer exactly what I love and none of what I don't. Its also allowed me to utilize quality time with each person, rather than having to rush them out due to back-to-back scheduling.

All of them! My client base ranges from young college athletes, to stay at home parents, to professional musicians and health care professionals. I treat service industry workers, nurses, pregnant women, desk workers, teachers, law enforcement, the elderly.I have clients who come in for relaxation and want to just turn their brain off for a little bit. I also have clients with phyiscal aliments and chronic dibilitating muscle disorders. Post surgical recovery is super important and massage therapy can play a giant role in that.

The 1 piece of advice I would give is go with your gut. Lists of accompliments and seeing who charges what are great but at the end of the day you're looking for someone to trust with your body, mind and energy. The time spent on the table can be healing and sacred, that is not to be shared with just anyone.

Think about your goals. Are you looking for relaxation/general relief? Is this treatment needing to address something specific? Stress/anxiety? Chronic pain?

Some questions I ask everyone apon arrival are:

How much water do you drink daily?

Do you exercise? If so, what activites and how often?

How do you sleep? On back, side or stomach?
