Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask new clients what is going on. How long has it been since they have had professional massage? Are they in for relaxation, or are they in pain? What goals do they have for the session? Are they allergic to any oils?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 2004 graduate of Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Express (one hour) $60, Full body $95, Hot stone $115, AromaTouch $60, Dry brushing or Exfoliating body scrub $25 add-on
How did you get started in this business?
I had always been interested in massage therapy. When my teaching career left me unfulfilled, I made the decision to enroll in massage therapy school. Being a therapist has made me a more patient and compassionate person.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with veterans, people who have had spinal surgery, athletes, infants, children with special needs, and senior citizens in their 90s.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently welcomed a new client. When I finished the session, he was dumbfounded. In his lifetime, he had never had such a complete massage.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask the therapist if there are extra charges for hot towels, essential oils or CBD oil. How long is each session? What types of oils are used?
