Hope to hear from you soon,

Soft tissue should be exactly as it is described, soft. Alot of us have injuries, knots, sprains, frayed tendons that we aren't even aware of, and they can be causing huge compensations in our bodies that we aren't feeling until it's too late. I love the idea of injury prevention via massage. As a sports massage therapist, I help your body function at it's best. I love that idea!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually speak with the new client on the phone to understand what their needs require. Once the client comes to the office, he or she will fill out a short form, then we have a discussion about what the client's goals are from massage.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy. I am licensed in Rhode Island to practice massage.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
30 minutes: $45.00

How did you get started in this business?
I wanted to work for myself. I am a motivated, compassionate individual with a unique style of understanding pain. I have suffered from my own chronic pain, learned from it, and translated it into a strength to help others. I love massage and am a true believer in the power of touch. What types of customers have you worked with?
From young athletes in weight lifting competitions, to geriatric hospice care, I have alot of experience with a variety of individuals. Those who have an interest in self care will thrive with my business, as I commit to my clients as equally as they invest in their own health.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a client recently who had been suffering from pain as a result of her arthritis in her hip. She had three visits with me. On her fourth, she had made such improvements that we were able to focus more on joint mobility than how much pain she had been feeling.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Call and speak with the therapist, or better yet, make an appointment just to visit and check out their office. Massage is your experience that you are paying for, you should be able to trust your therapist and feel as comfortable as possible in order for your mind and body to benefit most.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask if it would be okay to come in before the appointment so that you are not rushed. There is nothing less relaxing than feeling hurried along!
