Mumpower Massage

About

I specialize in deep tissue/trigger point massage with a focus on pain reduction, pain management, injury recovery and migraine pain relief. I have been doing this work for over 19 years, and I was an instructor at the Pittsburgh School of MAssage Therapy teaching trigger point therapy.

I get the biggest joy out of seeing clients getting some relief from their pain.

If I didn’t know better, I’d swear Brad had stress-seeking radar in his finger tips. He’s that good at homing right in on the knots mucking up how I feel. And often in the place I didn’t even know could have a knot.
For more than a decade, I’ve trusted my aches and pains to Brad. In my travels, I’ve tried other masseurs, but no one offers the value for money Brad does.
And, most of all, he’s more than a great masseur. He’s also a fantastic artist and wonderful human being.

Brad always asks how my body is feeling and what he should work on before starting a massage.

Frequently asked questions

Massages start with a consultation with each client so I can check in with them, if it’s their first massage, getting a good understanding of their goals for the massage and understanding the reason they have come in to see me.

Most massages are full body massages, with a intense focus and often extra time spent on the areas of concern. I feel it’s important to include the whole body in each massage to create an overall sense of well-being, and the whole body is connected, so wen one part is out of balance or in pain, it does affect the whole body.  Exceptions are made for clients who do want work only on one area, or if time only allows for spork on one area.

Massage sessions last from 30 minutes to 120 minutes, with the most common scheduled session being 90 mins.
