IN THE ZONE SPA & WELLNESS CENTER
About
I am a PA LMT (licensed massage therapist), a CMTPT (Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist), and a CMLDT (Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist). I offer pain management options or relaxation/deep tissue massage. Massage can be performed fully clothed, as often done with trigger point therapy, on a chair or undressed and on a table with sheets for draping. Hot Stone, Hot Bamboo, Cupping or aromatherapy may be requested, for an additional boost to the hands-on service.
I graduated from the Pittsburgh School of Pain Management in 2007. In 2017 I had the opportunity to purchase In the Zone Spa and Wellness Center and moved my practice from Bethel Park to Upper St Clair. The location is in Frosty Valley Golf Links Professional Building and is spacious and spa-like. It is just off Boyce Road between Route 19 and Mayview Road at 2652 Hidden Valley Drive, Suite 102, Upper St Clair, PA 15241. An infrared suana is available for client use, before or after a massage.
Continuing education is a requirement for massage therapists and I enjoy learning new options to achieve the goals of my clients, as each body is different. Cupping and Manual Lymph Drainage are the most recent additions to my practice and they go together. Cupping is a "reverse" trigger point option, bringing interstital fluids to the surface so the activated lymph system can process the items the venous system cannot. At the same time, space is created in the tissues to allow for blood flow to the compromised muscle fibers.
Appointments may be booked on-line at inthezonespa.com or by calling 724-260-0817. Please leave a message if no one is available to answer the call. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
