I believe that a therapist also needs to be a teacher. I'm able to break down situations and explain them in ways clients typically haven't heard before. I'm a story teller, and will also use wisdom from philosophy, Jewish mysticism, and mythology to help my clients find the answers they're looking for.

I once saw a therapist as a teenager, I poured my heart out, and got literally nothing in return. I've been in the field for ten years, and I've heard my clients tell me the same story time and time again. I do this job because I want to be the therapist that people feel actually listens to them and guides them through their struggles. I believe in the healing power of authentic communication, and it's always powerful for me to see my clients find their voice.
