What is your typical process for working with a new client?
intake form, discussion of what needs to be addressed and focused on during the massage, discuss the process of getting the massage.

graduated Salem School of Massage, 1998.
lots of national quality continuing education during 10 years of AMTA-OR BOD activity, on state and national convention involvement.

$55 per hour....$30 for 30 minutes, $75 for 90 minutes.
How did you get started?
desired to change careers for newspaper publishing on a weekly basis to something more healthy and nurturing.
What types of customers have you worked with?
all kinds of chair and table clients. all ages, etc.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
every year I do a day and a half of chair massage for an entity known as CityCounty Insurance Services during their annual conference for members of their insurance pooling business. I get to meet city and county workers from all over Oregon during the event. I have been doing this for 13 years, I believe.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a professional in your area of expertise?
If they have a particular style or intensity of pressure they prefer, not to be afraid to ask if they do this kind of work. If they want deep tissue, ask therapist if they do such work. Some do, some don't, and they should be honest.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their needs?
what depth of pressure they prefer. does the therapist offer that. any references or ways for the therapist to introduce what they offer. websites, etc.
