Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As an integrative practitioner I use an individualized approach to help you discover how to truly 'nourish' yourself physically, emotionally and/or spiritually. My clients have the potential to access personalized lab tests, delve into historical patterns and triggers, receive intuitive feedback, and knowledgable guidance. Through this system, clients often gain clarity of their body-mind-spirit needs.
For those needing ongoing support, supportive accountability empowers you to make better choices for self-care and explore paths that move you towards establishing functional yet nurturing habits. The result is a lifelong understanding of how/what/when to care for yourself on all levels for a lifetime of optimal health.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My life experiences and studies led to becoming a Reiki master teacher and traditional naturopath. My integrative approach is grounded in various energy techniques, plant medicines, birth work, and womb care.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Reiki is a wonderful healing modality free of religious dogma or tenets. However, all practitioners are somewhat unique in their approach. So, if you have very specific spiritual beliefs, you may want to be sure the Reiki practitioner or teacher understands those and doesn't incorporate anything that you might contrary to what you are seeking. Before investing in a Reiki class, have a conversation and book a session with the teacher (Reiki Master) prior to choosing them to become your mentor.
Birth and postpartum support are intimate. Ask questions designed to give you a real sense of the practitioner's compassion, listening skills, appropriateness, knowledge, patience, experience, and integrity.
Peristeam Hydrotherapy is a traditional healing modality that is gaining popularity. But steaming can be harmful if used improperly. Be sure to work with someone who has been trained in proper steam safety and facilitation. At a minimum they should know how to customize both the herbs and steam protocol for each person’s unique needs, and provide support beyond the initial session as things change/improve.
Be clear about what you need help with. Seek a practitioner who understands your goals, and has the skills, knowledge and tools to help you reach them. Begin with open, honest communication, and be willing to discover and unleash your best life!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Depending on what you are working on, some questions might be:
Is this a priority or a curiosity?
What is my ultimate goal?
What am I willing to change or adjust to reach my goal?
How am I standing in my own way?
What has helped me in the past? What has not?
In my life, who supports me unconditionally?
Am I ready for this?
