Ancient Fern Medicine
About
A patient's needs can be wide ranging and acupuncture can address thousands of conditions. Getting specific needs met and clear relief in the first session is my commitment to you. Additionally I will give you a treatment plan with options to give you relief in multiple areas of your life. This creates the "space" where you can begin to heal.
True healing is profound. Health and energy spontaneously occur and pain disappears by releasing pent up energies that are causing disease. There is a pathway out of the woods, it can be long, it can have massive obstacles, but I am committed to their identification and removal. Lets go!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To start, we will do a 90 minute full-health intake and treatment. We will discuss your most important goals and the road toward success. Acupuncture, Bodywork, Herbs, and other modalities are the tools we use to achieve success. That first session will show you how much can happen if we work together weekly. We maintain success by giving you important tools to do on your own at home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent four years earning my Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine at the National University of Natural Medicine. I was a long-time meditator before that. I studied Spring Forest Qigong, Body-Mind Centering, teach Craniosacral Work and how to bill insurance for Massage Therapists and Acupuncturists.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I take all insurance companies and am in-network with most of them. There is a standard billing system that I must use because I take insurance. If you do not have insurance, communicate your financial needs to me and we can work out a plan to support you.
How did you get started in this business?
Meditation. It led me to experience energy and acupuncture was the ultimate study of how energy works in the human body.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with men and women, young babies and senior citizens, all manner of sexual orientation, religion, and race.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am excited to take my four-year-old son to a Wellness event geared toward self-health for practitioners. I know they will be warm and supportive of his playfullness and we will create an awesome experience together!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
You should directly call three professionals. Notice how long they take to get back to you, how well they listen, etc. Ask them a few logistical questions and a few open-ended questions and I think you will just know when you find your match!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
They should think about how they are going to schedule something new into their schedule, how they are going to get to this new office regularly for awhile, if the pro will handle the insurance or other paperwork, how much paperwork is streamlined online, etc.
These are the business and foundational questions that make any therapy potentially lasting and comfortable for your time/money.
