Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with a variety of strokes, such as rolling, kneading, and percussion, to help improve the body's circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Sports Massage
30 mins - 2 hrs
Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pain and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and, in turn, promoting the body's natural immune function.

Therapeutic Massage
30 mins - 2 hrs
Aims to alleviate muscle soreness and improve overall body flexibility. Modalities utilized to assist in seeing client results are myofascial techniques, deep tissue, facilitated stretching, sports massage, and Trigger Point release techniques.

Deep Tissue Massage
30 mins - 2 hrs
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

    Frequently asked questions

    For Massage Therapy

New clients receive an intake where we will go over any previous medical procedures and injuries. At the first appointment, the first 10-20 minutes are spent going over problem areas, potential causes, and postural deviations. Because of this, it is recommended that the first session booked be 90 minutes or 120 minutes.

After the massage, we will go over what was worked on during the session, and recommend a treatment plan for future sessions.

    For Reiki Sessions

New clients are welcome to discuss anything they feel is relevant such as life circumstances, health concerns, stresses, etc.

Sessions last roughly 45 minutes with time reserved at the conclusion of the session to go over insights and experience.

    For Life Coaching

Sessions are client-centered. The focus of these sessions are on discovering what the client's goals and values are, and learning to identify what may be hindering them.

My career actually began as a Birth Doula after the birth of my first son. As I continued assisting births, I decided to train in massage therapy in order to continue to support my laboring clients. As demands of being a mother grew and the necessity to move arose, I transitioned my career to only massage therapy with the goal of continuing to assist individuals. I noted throughout my work in pain management and stress management that even when injuries were present, there were usually underlying factors in the energetic body and subconscious that contributed to and perpetuated feelings of stress, medical conditions, and physical discomfort. Assuch it became my mission to combine modalities and services to hep clients take control of their lives and feel more vital in all aspects of their lives so that they could show up with purpose and alignment to create the lives they envisioned for themselves.

Clients range from children as young as 5 to older clients up to 100 years old.
    Clients include:
Professional athletes, bodybuilders, MMA fighters, office workers, and more.

During a Reiki & Massage combination session, I met with a client who was under a lot of stress that was clearly taking a toll on her physically, emotionally, and energetically. About 3/4 through the session, I noticed that she was laying with her eyes open. After a few minutes, she looked at me and said "I didn't realize how much pain I was in, or how heavy my heart felt... but now it's gone, and I feel wonderful!" This is why I continue to do the work that I do. To support other humans.

Make sure that you are asking questions to know that LMTs are fully knowledgeable of the body, its functions, and functional movement. Communicate aches and pains, as well as your typical day-to-day activities so therapists can deduce likely causes of symptoms and offer advice to more effectively perform these tasks with less wear and tear to the body.

If you are looking for Reiki Services, asking practitioners how they intuit the energies, as well as their specific experiences and how they work, can be helpful to make sure that you are comfortable with the practitioner.

Have at least a general understanding of what your goals are, or areas where you're feeling stuck. Whether this pertains to your physical body, energetic well-being, or the way your life is manifesting (such as work or relationships), when you have an idea of what you DON'T want, you can begin to highlight what you're trying to achieve, then a practitioner will be better able to provide you with tools and services catered to your needs.
