Massage By Greenleaf
About
I travel to you, whether that be at your home or office. I do not charge cancellation fees, travel fees or reduce time for you being late. I give you 100% of the time you're paying for on the table, no time deducted for getting on or off the table, as many therapists do. I do not charge extra for deep tissue or aromatherapy. But most importantly I listen to you and focus on what you want. I pay attention to the way your body reacts and massage accordingly. I don't just dig in without care, I take my time to let your muscles relax and release.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I greet them in my quote and then schedule a time. I bring my table, sheets, oils, aromatherapy and music to their home or office. I set up my table, let them choose the music if they like. I have them choose an essential oil from the 10 aromas I currently have, to add to the sheets, so they can enjoy the aromatherapy without going away smelling like a flower. I use avocado oil for the massage. I let them fill out a new client information form and then proceed with the massage. I give hands on massage for the full extent of requested time, 60 minutes means 60 minutes, not 50 minutes for 60 like many massage clinics do. Afterwards, I let my clients take their time getting off the table. I wrap up my things as quickly as possible so they can get back to their lives and relax.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to Anthem College and graduated in 2010 with my license of massage therapy. I also take classes to continue my education and keep myself up to date on any new health information related to massage therapy.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge a flat $80 an hour, no travel fees within 20 miles of Portland.
How did you get started in this business?
I have wanted to be a massage therapist since I was about 7 years old. I decided to go to school in 2009 to achieve this goal. I love what I do, it's one of the best decisions I have made in my short 31 year life.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with everyone. Tall, small, old, young, disabled, fitness enthusiast, does not matter. I would never discriminate and love to help people of all kinds.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask as many questions as you need. You should feel comfortable with the therapist you choose. They should listen to your needs and meet them. If they don't, I would suggest to find another therapist and always keep in mind we are all different, with our own unique techniques and different ways to apply pressure. Some of us are great at listening to your body while others do what they think is best. So do what you feel is best and find a therapist that fits your needs.
