About
Michelle walks path of wellness with patients; utilizing acupuncture, essential oils and nutrition. Michelle knows each person's journey and challenges are unique and creates treatment protocols that match.
I enjoy making a difference in people's lives. Some patients I only treat a few times, and their issues are resolved. Other patients I see in an ongoing way to help guide them on their path of wellness.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free telephone consult, so people know who they are making an appointment with. Treatment often includes acupuncture, body work and essential oils for those who enjoy the oils.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine. I have substantial training in Nutrition- how it effects emotions and psychiatric challenges in addition to how it affects the body.
I have training in many forms of acupuncture. I mostly utilize gentle needling using Traditional Chinese Medicine and Esoteric Acupuncture training. I have training in 5 element style, Kiiko Matsumoto style, and Sports acupuncture, in addition to participating in cadaver labs. All of this training informs my treatments, allowing me to utilize what is best for each patient.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My time of service price is $120. I offer packages and can customize one to meet the patient's needs.

How did you get started in this business?
I was a long-time patient of acupuncture and it, along with dietary changes made such incredible improvements in my life I chose to make it my life's practice. I am a constant learner and helper. Making this career choice a really good fit for me.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide variety of patients. Often, people come to see me for pain and then realize how much more I can offer.
I can help support digestive and hormonal challenges, boost the immune system, and lower stress.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Hiring an acupuncturist is a very personal thing.
Some people are happy with a quick hello, needles are inserted, and you are in and out in 40 minutes.
I can do that treatment, but I prefer to connect and treat the root of people's challenges. Take your time to see who is a good fit for what you seek.
Personally, I have more than one acupuncturist. They each have different gifts. I see one if I am stressed out and need an energetic reboot. If my low back is challenging, I see the other. They are both amazing and do different things. Feel free to mix and match to get your needs met.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Make sure that you see a licensed acupuncturist. I would never let a different type of professional needle me. We have years of training not just on Chinese medicine theory but also on how to needle safely and effectively.
Ask if the style of acupuncture they offer is a good fit for you. Some acupuncturists want to make sure you feel each needle inserted. Those are not my acupuncturists! That stresses me out.
I prefer a gentle needler. Some people enjoy the extra stimulation.
Think about who you are and what kind of treatment you would enjoy, and someone who offers that.
