About this pro

At pure wellness we practice a positive approach to living - an approach that emphasizes the whole person. We believe in the importance of integrating body, mind, and spirit; and the appreciation that everything you do, think, feel, and believe has an impact on your state of health.

Our mission is to enable individuals to achieve an optimal, balanced state of living through a focus on rest, exercise, and diet. These three areas touch every aspect of our lives in some way, and play a vital role in achieving a healthy body, mind, and spirit - pure wellness.

We currently offer a variety of services, and believe in the importance of them all, but we'll meet you where you're at. We welcome you to come see us for any or all of our services.

I love helping individuals realize a new level of healthy living, which always results in looking and feeling better.  Life is simply more enjoyable when you look and feel your best and I want to help you get there.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new client?

I schedule an appointment with the client in the manner most convenient for them.  If possible, I ask for any pertinent background information prior to the appointment that will be helpful.  Since every service is different, each client's situation is handled individually.  There are no cookie-cutter approaches to anything I do.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have worked in health and fitness for over 15 years and I'm a Certified Wellness Coach, as well as a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I am also a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, Weight Loss Specialist, and Behavior Change Specialist, as well as a Medical Exercise Specialist through the American Academy of Health, Fitness and Rehab Professionals. I am also a licensed massage therapist specializing in Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, sports, and relaxation massage. I draw heavily from my experience as a personal trainer to make my style of massage therapy wellness-focused, unique, and effective. And I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Cameron University - Lawton, Oklahoma.

Do you have a standard pricing system? If so, please share the details here.

All services except for wellness coaching run $70 per hour (massage, personal training, assessments, etc.).  Wellness coaching is $100 per hour or a package of 5 sessions for $450 (the first wellness coaching session is $70).

How did you get started?

I have always loved health and fitness and my passion grew into a business and career that I truly love.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with a wide variety of clients from young teens to adults well past 80 years old.  I have worked with those who are very healthy and those that have a variety of physical challenges.  Regardless of your current age or condition, I'd like to help you reach your wellness goals, and find the path to a better you!

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I just opened a new office in a great location.  New adventures are always fun.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a professional in your area of expertise?

Find someone with accredited credentials and solid references that apply to what you need from that professional.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their needs?

I think customers should think through these questions:

Does this person have verifiable expertise and experience?

Does this person have credible references?

Am I ready to make this change, whatever it may be?
