About
I am a licensed massage therapist with an Associates Degree in applied Science of Massotherapy. An associates degree in massage therapy is not required to practice massage in Ohio and is not offered by many massage schools. My degree included extensive Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, Nutrition, Business, Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, amongst other classes that are beyond typical schooling for massage therapy. My business has been ongoing with growth since 2004. Currently located in Berea, Ohio And serving a large radius within fifty miles. Specialization in reliving pain, stress, anxiety and other ailments so that individuals can implement life changing habits to enhance their living experience. Patient's goals are met through a combination of therapies, nutrition, stretches, topical creams etc. My service stands out by being empathetic and listening to the clients needs. I meet the client where they are and accommodate them with designing a plan with them that will help with their different lifestyles. Example: an individual may need both pain and stress relief one visit. After a few visits that same individual may be ready to do stretches and change some eating habits that can help decrease inflammation in the body. We determine together what is your best course of action.

How did you get started in this business?
i returned to school as a single mother (at age 28) because I needed to provide a better living for my two daughters. I always wanted to be a nurse growing up but the hours were not conducive to being a single parent. Massage therapy at the school I attended was very intense in learning anatomy and physiology, the sciences in how the body works and responds to touch/ massage. I love that I chose Massage as a career because I can help individuals in many levels of their life's journey. Not only can I assist in reducing pain and stress but how to also implement other changes to increase your ability to heal and continue on your journey, learning how to take care of yourself in a healthful and natural way. I was an independent contractor for 13 years, working mostly out of one location and in 2017 I broke free and rented my own location.
