Pure Tranquility Massage Therapy
About
I've been licensed as a massage therapist with the Ohio State Medical Board for over 13 years. All of my massages are customized to fit the needs of the client. I schedule myself so that the client gets their full time on my table - I do not deduct consultation time from the appointment. My favorite part of being a massage therapist is being able to help others, whether it be to relax and de-stress, or to help provide pain relief, my passion is to help my client achieve their individual goal.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new client?
I ask new clients to come in 10-15 prior to their appointment time to complete a general history intake form and policy form. Once the paperwork is completed, I sit down with the client and we discuss goals for their session and I explain to them what to expect from me. I also make sure that the client knows that the key to a good massage is to communicate with me. If anything is uncomfortable - the room temperature, their position, the pressure - I can make changes to accommodate them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My major in college was business administration. I went on to massage school, where I did over 600 classroom hours, including anatomy & physiology, ethics, and learned the history and techniques of massage. I also did hands-on clinical hours.
Since I have been licensed by the State Medical Board, I have completed continued education in Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Hot Stone Therapy, Reflexology, Prenatal Massage and Ethics.
I'm a Reiki II practitioner and just completed my training in Thai Yoga Massage Therapy.

How did you get started?
I knew from a young age that I had a "gift" when it comes to massaging. I have always been able to feel pain and tension when touching someone.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked a lot with clients who have never had a massage before. I pride myself in being able to make these people feel very comfortable and relaxed. Some of my clients get weekly massage. Some clients come for relaxation, as a way to get their ME time and some come for chronic pain problems that I am helping to resolve.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a professional in your area of expertise?
