Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have an automated process to make appointments easy. Typically my clients call, text or click on the "Book Now" button on my website, seduce an appointment by selecting a service and time and completing the necessary intake forms. The day before the scheduled appointment, the client receives an email confirmation and a text confirmation on the day of the appointment. I review the intake form, ask question regarding areas of concern and what they would like to accomplish in the session. After the session, I give them an assessment of what I discovered and then we discuss a treatment plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Massage degree- Florida College of Natural Health. I'm licensed in the State of Florida and Kentucky. My course work and continued education includes Hot Stone therapy, Pre-Natal Massage, Oncology massage, Deep Tissue massage, Active isolated stretching, Reflexology, Thai yoga, Shiatsu massage, Cranial sacral and Ayurvedic massage. I have a certification in Aromatherapy, Nutrition and group Fitness.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
How did you get started in this business?
I had been a family law paralegal and I was looking for a career that better suited my personal lifestyle. I knew I had the gift of healing and I wanted to share that with others.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with customers from all walks of life. I work with geriatric clients, clients with chronic illness, physical therapists, chiropractors, nurses and doctors, clients with auto-immune and chronic pain. Cancer survivors and people with multiple back surgeries, children over the age of 10 years and people who workout regularly or not at all.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently did chair massage at a Scleroderma Family Fun Day. Scleroderma is an auto-immune disease that attacks connective tissue especially the skin causing a hardening of the skin.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a company in your area of expertise?
Choose a therapist you feel comfortable with. Every therapist and every technique will not necessarily fit your needs. Ask questions, set expectations and don't be afraid to speak up if your needs are not being met. The massage belongs to you so good communication is key for getting the best out of your service.
