Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Talk with the client about what they expect from the massage, what areas are bothering them and do my best to address them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Spent 2 years at Cemter For Wellness:School for Massage Therapy. Take continued education classes through out the year. Also go yo several different events as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes have standard pricing, as well as packages depending on what type of session the client is looking for.
How did you get started in this business?
My 21 year old daughter, suffered a stroke at age 2. I would massage her arm/hand, that doesn't fully extend. Noticed how much massage benefits her. Wanted to learn more, so I can help her. And wanted to help others as well.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All ages from infants to elderly. As well as athletes, and those looking for just your basic Swedish. Cover it all.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Event I'm most fond about is the Empire State ride event. The dedication the riders have for fundraising and defeating cancer. And giving the massage at the end of each day, is rewarding. Giving back to them.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
My advice. Have someone that's willing to listen to what your needs are and are willing to meet them.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Mainly about what's bothering them, and areas of their body that want worked on. Don't really have to have questions. Can just be concerns.
