What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is to spend time evaluating my clients needs. Understanding what their goals are for treatment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Onondaga school of thraputic massage in 1998 I'm NYS licensed I have taken many continuing education classes over the course of my career. From rock taping , freeing up frozen shoulder, pregnancy / infant massage. A 6 month medical massage course , I'm also a level one cranial sacral therapist. And many other courses.

How did you get started in this business?
I have alway been fascinated with muscles and how they respond to touch. As a young girl I gave massages to my family members.
In 1998 I needed a career change and decided massage therapy was the direction I needed to go. It's not my job it's my passion.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked on infants to geriatric my oldest client is 98 my youngest was a week old.
Ive worked on athletes as well as people with disabilities. Cancer patients as well as clients recovering from major surgery . I also have clients looking to just relax and reconnect with themselves.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A few years ago I was able to be involved in the Cycle Adirondack event. I provided recovery massages bicyclists that were peddling through the scenic Adirondack mountains for a week.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What are they hoping to achieve by having massages? Are they looking for relaxation or do they have an injury or surgery they are hoping to get relief from.
