About

Working together on your relationship both with yourself and with others, so you can get more out of every day and meet any challenge life throws at you.

I have a Masters of Social Work and started practicing psychotherapy in 2002.

You know, things don’t always go the way we think they will. We might lose something, or someone, that means a lot to us.

We might find it difficult to understand why we’re behaving differently. Or it might be an unfamiliar feeling that we just can’t seem to shake off.

Sometimes, we need a bit of counseling to understand what’s going on and that’s where Mindwork Counseling Tribeca comes in.

When you visit Mindwork at it’s South Soho – North Tribeca location, or for online counseling you and I will spend some time each week counseling, to increase your self-awareness and helping you gain more insight into your inner-life.

Carolyns new location in Tribeca is very inviting. She keeps me on track and encourages me to be honest with myself. She an excellent listener, and has an uncanny ability to help me identify parts of myself that I did not see before. Our work together has made a difference in the way I relate to my peers, family, and work. Therapy with Carolyn has resulted in a dramatic and positive shift in my life.

Frequently asked questions

Therapy is a collaborative process. So you and I will create an individualized approach that’s designed around you. We’ll work together to overcome the obstacles you may be facing and help you understand what’s really going on in your head.

I started Mindwork back in 2007 for people who want to get a better understanding of themselves and the world around them.

After working as a designer for a number of years, I felt the need to collaborate with people in a more meaningful way. So I went back to school to pursue a Masters of Social Work and started practicing psychotherapy in 2002.

I now spend my days working with people to understand what changes they need to make to live the lives they want and, more importantly, what they can do to make those changes stick.

So if you haven’t been feeling like yourself lately, let’s figure it out together.
