Minh Michael Massage

Michael has been licensed to practice massage therapy in the state of New York since 2014, and has had a thriving concierge massage practice for the last 12 years.

A highly skilled and passionate native New Yorker, he's developed a reputation for being able to hold space for the most discerning clients used to dealing with (and applying) tremendous pressure in their day-to-day lives with his grounding presence and caring approach.

His knowledge of and intuition for the body has been honed for many decades, having been deeply influenced by the spiritual/healing knowledge passed down to him from several members of his family tree, as well as having the karma to meet and receive mantra empowerments by several Buddhist lamas.

In addition to being trained and certified to practice various modalities of manual therapy, which include Swedish massage, Thai massage, sports, Shiatsu, acupressure, Neuromuscular therapy, prenatal massage, elder massage, Structural Energetic Therapy, fire cupping, lymphatic guasha, and others, he has undergone countless dark nights of the soul, which have led him down the paths of various shamanic traditions and have shaped and rooted his ability to alchemize embodied patterns within his clients’ bodies.

He has also received an attunement as a Level 1 reiki practitioner in the Usui Reiki tradition under master practitioner Racquel Borromeo.

Surprisingly, his esoteric approach to working with the body has led him to crossing paths and working with several notable individuals (many of whom he cannot mentioned by name due to an agreement of nondisclosure): celebrities, professional athletes, thought leaders, trendsetters, power players. Regardless, he is inspired and humbled to work with any and everyone the universe sends to him.

He primarily practices in the NYC metro area, but his study and practice of healing modalities have taken him all around the United States, as well as internationally to Thailand, Vietnam, China, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Colombia (and that list continues to grow). He’s had clients book for a day rate in the Hamptons, and is open to discussing contracting for services outside of the NYC metro area. He has accepted requests from clients to book him in the Hamptons, Miami, Los Angeles, Westchester County, and is willing and open to considering all unconventional location requests (with proper considerations).

When he isn't serving his clients, Michael can often be found practicing/competing in Brazilian Jiujitsu (in which he currently holds a purple belt).
