She asks what problems you are having and LISTENS to your answer. Her knowledge of human anatomy is GREAT. Shell find muscles and other stuff you didnt know you had! She is also good at showing you how relieve some pain yourself until you an see her again. You get all this, but a pleasant person at a VERY, VERY reasonable rate.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will discuss some of their needs at the time we set the appt date and time. At the appt, we discuss all problem issues and I will do an evaluation. During the appt, we communicate between us as to pain, pressure, what I am doing and why.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
700 hours of massage school training. 100 hours training and certification in Neuromuscular therapy. Many continuing education hours in many different subjects pertaining to massage therapy.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Massage at office - $100 per hour, $125 per 1 1/2 hour, $150 per 2 hours.
Chair massage starts at $70 per hour, 2 hour minimum for corporate at 10 to 15 mins per person.How did you get started in this business?
I was involved in emergency services. It became too stressful on me but I still wanted to help people. Had I known then, what I now know about massage, I may have still been in emergency services but getting regular massages.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients that only want relaxation to clients that have been injured in combat or accidents. Young and old have enjoyed my massages and found benefits to their health.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There are many massages that I have done that are memorable but due to Privacy regulations and therapist/client ethics, I will not disclose them. Although, there are many chair massage events that have been very memorable in educating clients that have never had massage to the benefits of massage.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for someone with experience and that will explain what they are doing and why. You have every right to take control of your health and what better way to do it than to have your practioners discuss with you and involve you in the process of gaining and maintaining good health.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The client should think about what their issues are....all of them and tell their massage therapist and let the therapist decide if they need relaxing, deep tissue or medical massage. That can be decided at appt set up if you just talk to the therapist. Many people think they need deep tissue massage =(hurts) for an issue that if given in that particular area could cause damage. Deep tissue massage does not have to hurt. There are ways to get deep into the muscles slowly a little at a time.
