About
Our mission at Alternative Bodyworks is to improve the quality of life for all our patients. People come to us from all walks of life for one reason - to feel better. The benefits of acupuncture combined with massage provide affordable solutions to many people who do not find what they are looking for in more traditional health care settings. We like to take care a step further by helping you assess your daily routines and habits to identify possible triggers and causes of chronic pain, stiffness, tightness, and even loss of range of motion.
We are working hard everyday to expand our services in an effort to better serve our patients. Our patients are our priority. Each patient here is treated to the fullest extent of our knowledge and expertise. We provide the most comprehensive care plans because it is our belief that every aspect of wellness is related. As the body, mind, and spirit cannot be separated, neither can we separate the care we provide these aspects of our being. Our focus will always be on providing the highest quality care for the lowest possible price.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know what specific movements or positions are more bothersome and then from there feel around the relevant areas for any feedback the body can give me. Once I have an idea of what movements and manipulations would best resolve these specific concerns I get to work within client tolerance. Most sessions we can releive symptoms by a large percentage even if they aren't fully treated. From there we can set a follow up depending on severity, client availability, and budget concerns.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Normally I charge 90 dollars per hour plus tax, and then if you rebook within 3 weeks of your last appointment it's considered follow up and your price is reduced to 65 plus tax. As long as your appointments never go beyond 3 weeks in between you'll never lose that price.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly athletes and people in pain upon movement. The large part of my client base deals with either injury that causes pain or movement problems that prevent adequ as te training or performance.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Dont be afraid to ask questions that would demonstrate your massage professional's expertise. They should be very confident answering questions about your anatomy and movement!
