Pure Serenity Massage
About
I like to take a more therapeutic approach to my sessions when I am massaging my clients. Not only am I focused on providing an overall relaxing experience, I will also use my extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology to find and treat the source of your pain/tension. As my client we will go over a treatment plan that will best suit your wellness needs, wants, and expectations and will also provide you with long term results.
I enjoy giving my clients relief. The look my client gives me at the end of our session and they are completely relaxed and feeling better makes me have a sense of accomplishment that is unparallel to any career endeavor I've had thus far. I also enjoy educating my clients on exactly how massage and the techniques I use will benefit them in their long term care goals.

How did you get started in this business?
I initially started my journey as a licensed reiki practitioner. I wanted to add more skills to my resume and decided massage therapy would be the most beneficial healing practice for my clientele. Once I started massaging and learning more about the benefits of massage I fell in love with the practice and have been devoting myself completely to being a full time professional massage therapist.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of clients who are just your average overworked and overwhelmed adults, to children with anxiety, people with chronic injuries, and also people with disabilities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently did chair massage event at a holistic fair in Charleston SC. I loved the exposure and meeting people from different walks of life.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Know if your therapist is properly trained in the style they are using. Having a knowledgeable therapist who is familiar and trained in many different styles of massage will help achieve the results you are looking for.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
They should think about what the intentions of their session are, like if they are looking for relaxation, pain relief, a treatment plan for chronic pain, etc. With an intention set on their session their therapist will be able to perform better.
