How did you get started in this business?
Dr. Wendy began as a chiropractic patient in 2000 and decided to return to school in 2011 to become a chiropractor to share the experience with others.
What types of customers have you worked with?
As a family practitioner, Dr. Wendy has experience working with patients of all ages from newborn to 99 and beyond with gentle techniques for all ages. Dr. Wendy does have a special affinity for athletes as well given her sports background with travel softball and now competitive league tennis play.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
For my family members, I would first insist on digital x-ray. Past that, the selection of a chiropractor requires an evaluation of three elements: the doctors personality and communication skills, technique and accessibility. In terms of technique, Dr. Wendy uses Pierce Results System, Pettibon Cervical Traction, Cox Flexion/Distraction, and Arthrostim: none of which necessitate "popping and cracking." However old-school manual adjusting is employed here. In terms of accessibility, chiropractic works with "time and repetition" so the location of the office should be convenient for you.
