About
Began her journey in massage therapy in 2003, studied at Heritage College in Kansas City and graduated in 2004.
Jocelyn enjoys building life-long relationships with her client and has various training in different modalities, that allow her to serve a wide range of people in different stages of their life. A couple of her favorite trainings she has had are, advanced training through the Sports Massage Training Institute, with internationally acclaimed Dr. Myk Hungerford and ART® training with Dr. Marty DeCourcy and Dr. TJ Hackler.
Jocelyn is certified as a Nurturing the Mother Pregnancy Massage Therapist by Claire Marie Miller Seminars, one of the nations leaders in massage therapy.
Jocelyn offers massage and therapeutic pregnancy massage, labor support massage, postpartum massage, and newborn massage instruction. The Nurturing the Mother program includes massage for each trimester and relief from the common discomforts the mother may be experiencing. As the mother returns to her pre-pregnant state, Jocelyn's postpartum massage techniques will aid in the realignment and recovery of her body.
Jocelyn has FMT Blades Advanced training through ROCKTAPE® in the utilization of ROCKBLADES.
The technical term for this technique is Instrument Assisted Soft-Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). IASTM is a technique performed with ergonomically designed instruments designed by ROCKBLADES that help treat fascial restrictions, and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis, chronic inflammation, or degeneration.
When Jocelyn is not working, she is a soccer mom. She is almost always at a soccer field with her husband, supporting their girls. When not doing all things soccer, they enjoy doing outdoor family activities like, hiking or stand up paddle boarding. Jocelyn treasures her time trail running and has finished the Pikes Peak Ascent race, twice, as well as climbed several other Colorado 14er mountains.
