About
Hello!
My name is Devin and I have been practicing massage therapy for over eight years. I attended the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis in 2013 and I am a CMT (certified massage therapist) with 600 hours schooling and thousands of hours, at this point, hands on work.
I am your go to therapist if you want to feel better but also make effective, lasting change. I refer to my style of work as “Swedish Integration” because it’s a blend of elements from: Swedish Massage, Structural Integration, Craniosacral Therapy and Thai Massage.
I specialize in: rehabilitation, chronic pain, fascial constriction, trauma and emotional healing. I do not believe in the “more pain, more gain” approach as it, typically, causes more trauma to the body and reinforces the stereotype that getting a massage needs to be painful to be effective. It doesn’t, and it shouldn’t be.
My work is done without force yet still makes positive change by listening to and adapting to how your body feels; as everyone hold soreness and tension differently and has different degrees of what constitutes “deep” or “light” pressure to them.

I look forward to working with you and thank you for your time!
Sincerely,
Devin

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon arrival I will have you fill out a new client intake form. Here you can write down: emergency contact, health history, what type of pressure you prefer and anything else you think I (your therapist) should know!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied the 600 hour massage therapy program at The Aveda Institute of Minneapolis. I also have went on to continue training at the Lyons Institute for Craniosacral Therapy & Structual Integration.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I price by time and do not charge extra for things some places consider "add ons" such as: warm towels & use of essential oils.
I also have coffee, tea, water & hot chocolate complimentary to ever client.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a range of different types of clients but I find myself working mainly with people who suffer from chronic pain and soreness from work/everyday life.
