About
My name is Lisa Fecarotta and I am the founder and owner of Veda Yoga Therapy. I am a lifelong and passionate advocate for health, wellness and human potential. I began practicing yoga and meditation in 1970 and in 2005 was initiated into the Himalayan Tantra tradition.
Today more than ever, I live all aspects of yoga daily. I am a certified massage therapist with more than 1,000 hours of therapeutic structural bodywork training. I am also a Reiki Master—and transmit a profoundly beautiful and powerful healing energy in all sessions.
I am a IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists) Certified Yoga Therapist 200-hour registered Yoga Alliance yoga instructor and a 350-hour Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist, and I trained at the Ananda Seva Ashram, Santa Rosa, California. I have also trained with Richard Miller, PhD and have completed my training in iRest Yoga Nidra and I am a certified teacher. In addition, I hold a certificate in nutrition from Ashworth College, Norcross, Georgia.
I have a deep respect for both eastern and western wellness modalities, knowing that the body contains innate wisdom to heal itself, I am committed to helping activate the healer within—while awakening clients to the knowing of our extraordinary capacity for growth, happiness and good health.
Being able to provide therapeutic massage to clients is profoundly rewarding. Relieving their pain that they may have had for years or months has kept me doing this work for over 20 years!
Massage therapy allows me to use the many techniques I have learned over the years. Each body has its own unique tension areas and concerns. I work with each client individually in each session and together we determine what type of massage is best for that session.
