My name is Lisa Fecarotta and I am the founder and owner of Veda Yoga Therapy. I am a lifelong and passionate advocate for health, wellness and human potential. I began practicing yoga and meditation in 1970 and in 2005 was initiated into the Himalayan Tantra tradition.
Today more than ever, I live all aspects of yoga daily. I am a certified massage therapist with more than 1,000 hours of therapeutic structural bodywork training. I am also a Reiki Master—and transmit a profoundly beautiful and powerful healing energy in all sessions.
I am a IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists) Certified Yoga Therapist 200-hour registered Yoga Alliance yoga instructor and a 350-hour Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist, and I trained at the Ananda Seva Ashram, Santa Rosa, California. I have also trained with Richard Miller, PhD and have completed my training in iRest Yoga Nidra and I am a certified teacher. In addition, I hold a certificate in nutrition from Ashworth College, Norcross, Georgia.
I have a deep respect for both eastern and western wellness modalities, knowing that the body contains innate wisdom to heal itself, I am committed to helping activate the healer within—while awakening clients to the knowing of our extraordinary capacity for growth, happiness and good health.
Being able to provide therapeutic massage to clients is profoundly rewarding. Relieving their pain that they may have had for years or months has kept me doing this work for over 20 years!
Massage therapy allows me to use the many techniques I have learned over the years. Each body has its own unique tension areas and concerns. I work with each client individually in each session and together we determine what type of massage is best for that session.
CIAYT - Certified Yoga Therapist, NCTMB - Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, Certified iRest Teacher.

Lisa has magic hands. I have been seeing her for a number of years now and she has really helped me. One the best things I like is she lets me bring my own playlists of music to listen to during my massage. What massage therapist do you know who doesn't object to a little Led Zeppelin mixed in with Natalie Merchant?
Lisa is an excellent massage therapist. I knew during my first session that I would become a repeat client. Being a bodyworker myself, it is not always easy to find someone who I feel is as tuned in, accurate and actually resolves my issues as Lisa has done for me. She also works slowly, which I really appreciate. It gives my muscles time to trust and let go. Her table and face cradle are very warm and comfortable. Her office is very welcoming. AND she is a very bright star, with comforting grounding energy around her. I highly recommend her!
Lisa is very knowledgable and works very hard to understand what your needs are in order to give you the best massage ever. She takes time to listen and you feel very cared for and very comfortable. Her office is warm and inviting and in a convenient location! Lisa has the magic touch with healing whatever might be ailing you!
When a client comes into my office, we discuss how their body is doing. I typically observe how they move and their overall posture. I explain my planned approach to the massage and ask if they have any questions.
I have over 1,000 hours of different therapeutic massage training, ranging from structural integration, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Assited Isolated stretching with Aaron Mates, Therapeutic deep tissue massage. You can see my credentials on my website.
