After being in the industry as long as I have been, I've been labeled as a specialist in multiple modalities. My favorite modalities though are deep tissue, sports massage, lymphatic draining, and stress/headache relief. A recent patient had some body modification done including liposuction and fat transfer. Her surgeon indicated post surgical lymphatic massages for 14 days following the procedure, but she couldn't find a practitioner who specializes in lymph. She tried multiple different practitioners and found many of them only claimed to know how to treat her; taking her money and making no real difference in her well-being. I've been working with her daily and can feel her body melt/release under my hands. She's more and more responsive each day and some of her major concerns are resolved rather than just relieved for the day. I love working with lymph! It's so rewarding to feel a tangible difference rather than just hearing about how much better my clients feel!
