Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new client?
We schedule an extra 15-30 minutes for each new client, to allow time for completing a New Client Health Intake form and assessment of posture, structure, current issues, and concerns.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All practitioners have completed education that is required in order to legally practice their profession in the State of Michigan, and we all participate regularly in continuing education.
Do you have a standard pricing system? If so, please share the details here.
Massage Therapy:
1/2 hour = $45, 1 hour = $75, 1 1/2 hours = $100
Couples Massage:
1 hour = $140, 1 1/2 hours = $180
How did you get started?
We strive to be our own bosses while helping others do the same.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with everyone.
Our only limitation is that certain medical/health conditions may prevent a client from receiving services at the wellness center because we are in a second-floor walk-up loft building.
We regret that we are unable to accommodate those with severe phobias or allergies to dogs.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Our first annual "It's Almost Spring!" Open House, on Sat Mar 18, was a success in that we met over 20 new visitors to the wellness center, and our Holistic Nutrition Consultant co-working member presented her first "What is Herbalism?" demonstrations at the Eastern Market Community Kitchen in Shed 5 on the same day.
