About this pro

With a focus on not just relaxation but also functionality of your body and healing. We not only work with your physical body (Muscles and Myofacial tissue) but your energetic body as well (Meridian lines) using techniques like reiki and craniosacral massage. Movement is also incorporated into ever massage to help with flexibility and range of motion. If your looking for a holistic approach to self care and dealing with chronic pain, limited functionality,  or low energy.

What I enjoy the most about the work I do, is helping my cleints become more aware of their bodies, this is generally for the client who is not very active, deals with a lot of stress, trama or chronic pain. Over time with the use of massage, movement, mindfulness and breathing coaching, clients start to become more aware of how and why chromic pains exist and how to begin to remedy those consistently. As clients begin or put more effort and awareness to their #selfcare. That is what I enjoy the most about the work I do. I also enjoy learning about how each individual body works and operates and how it relates to everyone else. Seperate but still connected.

Thats something we look forward to making a regular part of our yearly volunteering

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

The best advice we would give to a customer looking to hire a pro in our area of expertise would be, ask friends and family for recommendations. Dont just go to one therapist try out a couple options. You want to make sure this is someone you will be comfortable with someone you trusr, because you will and should build a relationship with your therapist and if after 2-3 month if your not seeing or feeling any longer lasting improvements or changes then dont be afraid to say something or seek a second opinion (new therapist)

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Questions all customers should consider before talking to a pro about their needs are, is this something they are going to commit too? One massage isnt going to change their life or lifestyle. Lasting benefits of massage require regular(based on individual needs) treatment.

Am I willing to continue investing in my selfcare? You might be paying a therapsit for massage but your paying yourself ever greater.

Am I comfortable (trust) working with this therapist? Massage is a private and intimate affair, clients place themselves in very vulnerable positions and need to trust that vulnerability will not be abused by their therapist. Having a clear client therapist  agreement(signed) and understanding in place is a great way to help insure those standards are maintained at all times. Ensuring comfort and helping to establish a relaxing enviroment and allow for deeper relaxation of the body.
