About
There are many ways in which my business stands out, but the one that matters most to both my clients and I is how much different _their_ experiences have been, working with me (compared to their previous massage experiences). You see, my goal with each session is not just to work on somemuscles and connective tissue, but to help that person’s life improve!
In some cases, that does just mean helping muscles to relax, and providing truly Painless Deep Tissue Massages that don’t hurt or leave lasting marks. In others, while working as a Medical Massage Practitioner, it can mean helping to increase ranges of motion, reducing adhesions that developed after injuries or surgeries or, as a Personal Empowerment Coach, helping lead those who’ve lost or forgotten their paths to rediscover the mastery of them they once knew so well, and to blaze whole new trails they may never have even considered, before.
So, would today be a good day for you to experience a more relaxed and empowered you?
I love helping people, and always have. In my younger years, I was a freelance drummer and drum instructor, then later, a master craftsman and mentor to other fine artists and craftspeople — and now, as a massage therapist, medical massage practitioner and empowerment coach, I help bodies (and the people within them) to move, recover, feel and become their freest, most comfortable and empowered selves! How does it get any better than that?

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always begin with a phone conversation, to get better senses of what that person’s history, current circumstances and possible therapeutic needs are, to be sure that I can indeed help them (in either my massage therapy or life coaching capacities).
From there, we either make an appointment for them to come in for either a treatment or coaching session, or I may refer them elsewhere, if I think they’ll be better served in someone else’s care.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated both massage school and my life coaching training with honors, then enrolled in postgraduate training for Medical Massage and earned national certification in that. I have also trained in numerous allied treatment modalities, including Deep Tissue work, Myofascial Release and Trigger Point therapies, Active and Passive Isolated Stretching, guided imagery/relaxation techniques, energy work (i.e. Reiki), several of the Access Consciousness®️ Processing modalities, including The Bars®️ (for which I served as an international facilitator/practitioner trainer for several years), MTVSS®️, the Access Energetic Facelift®️ and Cellular Memory®️, and am currently training in Gua Sha, a Traditional Chinese Medicine technique that has been relied upon for thousands of years to help improve both the character and flexibility of muscle tone, break down scar tissue and adhesions of the superficial tissues, decrease the appearance of aging skin and increase the flow of Xi (life force energy) throughout the body.
