Hello, my name is DJ and I'm a licensed and insured massage therapist. I received my certification and met the state's requirements attending Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics and Massage Therapy. I also attended Bay State College, UMASS Lowell, Bridgewater State University and Quincy College with all my majors related to learning about Anatomy and Physiology. I became a therapist because I had a major injury and the therapists I worked with made the recovery process an enjoyable one. I always had a love and wonderment about the human body and for helping people in anyway I could so massage therapy seemed like my calling and purpose. I have learned everyone suffers pain in one form or another and I had my great share of it. I am also allergic to all pain medications and very sensitive to just about every pill out there. Massage therapy showed me a safer, natural way to manage pain on the inside and out. I believe just about anyone could use some type of massage and I will work with anyone that asks for my help. What separates me from most therapists is that this ins't just a job or career for me, but a lifestyle that I truly enjoy and want to educate others on the importance of taking care of the mind, body, and spirit. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would either talk on the phone or in person in a neutral setting discussing what your looking to achieve in this healing process and what options I provide with some simple education behind it. I only ask a couple of health questions on a piece of paper to make sure you can actually benifit from receiving a therapuetic massage. This little process allows me to build mutual trust and knowledge about my new client and sets in a comfort level. Then a scheduled session would be booked where I would travel to you and I set up and take care of everything.

How did you get started in this business?
Wanted to help people my whole live in the medical field but my way on my terms and I was born with a love for anatomy and other health sciences so it kind of seamed like my calling by the time I finished and graduated from Elizabeth Grady.
